An omnium-gatherum of poetry, prose and music
Hosted by the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and New Yorker poetry editor Paul Muldoon, Muldoon’s Picnic is a special evening of entertainment that is rarely staged outside New York.
At the Abbey Theatre for one night only as part of a Scottish and Irish tour, Muldoon and his house band Rogue Oliphant (including Cait O’Riordan of The Pogues, Chris Harford and Ray Kubian) will be joined by special literary and musical guests: Paul Brady, Camille O’Sullivan, Jennifer Johnston and Eavan Boland.
The Muldoon’s Picnic tour is produced by Poetry Ireland and supported by an Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Arts Council of Northern Ireland Touring Grant. Muldoon’s Picnic is hosted in New York City by the Irish Arts Center.
