Along with being responsible for casting all Abbey Theatre productions, Sarah will actively seek out new and emerging talent, as well as supporting the work and development of more established actors.
Sarah graduated from Trinity College in 2012, joining the creative team at The Factory in 2013; where she began her casting career at Maureen Hughes Casting. Having worked closely as an assistant on numerous projects including Love/Hate, Charlie and feature Traders, she then cast her first short The Welfare of Tomás Ó Hallissy.
In the past two years, Sarah has co-cast for the Abbey Theatre on productions The Unmanageable Sisters, On Raftery’s Hill and Citysong; Druid Theatre on King of the Castle and Sive; Gaiety Theatre Productions on The Cripple of Inishmaan; Landmark Productions on Once which ran for three summers in the Olympia.
For television, she has co-cast dramas Resistance, Striking Out and Taken Down. Recent film work includes We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Maze and Extra Ordinary which won Best Irish Film at the Galway Film Fleadh.
