Walk the corridors of literary and theatrical legends whilst revealing some of the quirks of Micheal Scott’s Magic Box design, from 1966. Finish with a rummage in our prop’s parlour, the things of our theatre for nearly 120 years.

Our backstage tours are show specific, we showcase the design and craft of the current production. Every show produces a different tour.

Duration 

Tours last for approximately 75 minutes and start from the Abbey foyer. 

Accessibility and Suitability 

Our tours cross multiple levels and involves stairs. Please specify if mobility is an issue when booking, and we will do our utmost to accommodate. 

Due to particular production requirements, certain areas may not be available on some tours. 

We recommend the tour for ages 16+.
